Thankfully, because of massive practice, significant skill building and a little luck winning the ovarian lottery, I nearly always see everything this way….

always full

I’m not sure what it takes, I suspect it’s in part a DNA thing– a set point within people from day 1… but regardless of where you begin, I’m positive this view can be owned by any of us.

For me, It begins with a genuine and rigorous commitment to see the good in people, in moments and situations and within everything.   Seeing the good requires searching for it amidst all the muck of this life hanging off of us as we brave the day….  it’s brutal sometimes but I’m positive if you look, you’ll always find it.

….Not in a gross and fake “positive thinking” kinda way, but in a sincere heart to heart recognition of our authentic goodness.

When you commit to seeing things from a more universal perspective, everything else changes.

“The fact that we live at the bottom of a deep gravity well, on the surface of a gas covered planet going around a nuclear fireball 90 million miles away and think this to be normal is obviously some indication of how skewed our perspective tends to be.”
